Undergraduate Work
-
In Prof. Yan Li's group at Peking University:
-
Developed a new ionic-liquid-assisted method to prepare carbon nanotube / platinum nano-particle complexes, in which the platinum nano-particles were dispersed much more uniformly compared to samples prepared by conventional polyol reduction method.
-
Employed the complexes as the anode catalyst in direct methanol fuel cells and amperometric detector of hydrogen peroxide.
-
-
In Prof. Anne McNeil's group at University of Michigan during summer, 2008 (UM/PKU exchange program):
-
Studied palladium transfer in Suzuki couplings.
